RBC EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Event registration and payment
The final date of registration for an event will be confirmed on each event announcement.
Registration should be done on the RBC website. Payment for the event should also be submitted at the time of registration. We have recently implemented a new simplified payment process hence all that is required is a simple entry of debit or credit card data.
Please note that the software will cancel registration if the payment is not simultaneously processed. We also ask members to pay using a debit or credit card from an EU bank. UK cards, Amex and other prestige cards attract much higher payment charges.
We recognise that some users will require help in registration and payment. Please contact the Events Team at rbceventsportugal@gmail.com if you require assistance.
Note that full payment must be received by the final date of registration.
Event cancellation and refund
A number of our events require final numbers to be given to the venue a few days (eg 3-5 days) prior to the event. The reason for this is to enable the venue to purchase food and commit to engaging contract staff for the event. The RBC is charged on these final numbers submitted hence unfortunately cannot refund any cancellations submitted after the date for final numbers. All cancellations must be emailed to rbceventsportugal@gmail.com prior to this date in order to receive a full refund.
No refund will be made for non-attendance, nor future credit given towards another event, other than under extenuating circumstances such as a family death or other extraordinary circumstances.
If the RBC cancels or postpones an event due to low enrolment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable, a full refund will be made.
Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a refund or transfer their registration to the same or equivalent event at the new, future date occurring within the same calendar year.
