  Do you need a quick refresher on basic standard wine tasting practices and protocols? This workshop will be presented by RBC member Miles Edlmann who has over 20 years of top-end experience in the Portuguese wine industry, in the vineyards and the wineries of some of the oldest, largest and most prestigious wine companies in the country.  As a winemaker Miles has produced three wines scoring 97 points, won a variety of awards and has also and written several publications.

  Once again our societies come together. This year we are excited to announce a multi-society Trafalgar Day commemoration with a difference! Join us on board Frigate Dom Fernando II e Glória in Almada, where we will be taken back in time to 1805. What happens when Emperor Napoleon comes face to face with Lord Horatio Nelson after the battle of Trafalgar? See for yourself as these two Titans of History meet for the very first time aboard the frigate...there will be trouble!

  Canapés (including vegetarian and gluten free options) and drinks will be plentiful.
